That Road to the Final Four

The Bruins have always been apt to basketball dynasties and Gabriel Jaquez knows it. You may remember the point guard’s legendary 2024-2025 season, where she led the Bruins to the Final Four. As she plays through her senior year — and her final year as a Bruin — she reflects on how it felt to make history for UCLA basketball: “Other people may have been surprised, but I wasn’t. My teammates weren’t, either.” Right now, Jaquez is leading the Bruins to another spectacular season as the #2 team in the NCAA. She’s not letting anything, even the former glory of a Final Four appearance, distract her.
